Recently we have had a few calls about the care of the fashion rings.  We use a simple process here in the office.  We just dip the rings in cleaning solution and then in warm sudsy water.  Then we rinse in clear water, blot dry and then use a blow dryer to make sure the stones are dry inside and out.

NEVER EVER USE AMMONIA to clean your rings in.  Bleach is another harmful chemical to the rings.  Some soaps and hand lotions will make the stones look dull.

Although this is fashion jewelry it does need to be cleaned.  We have received some returns back that all it needed was to be cleaned.  Sometimes just to clean the band all you would need is a polishing cloth.  These cloths are good to wipe lotions and grease from the bands.  So you might want to try one of these even on the bands of your fine jewelry.  They also work great on watch bands.
