What
is the minimum on initial orders?
While
most other companies have a minimum order
of $100, such a low minimum on an initial
order can be disastrous to a new business.
To have a truly professional jewelry presentation,
you need a wide variety of styles and, for
rings, sizes.
This is why Shavonne's minimum for an initial
order is $250--though for anyone who is really
serious about selling jewelry, ordering the
minimum is not recommended. (This $250 minimum
order applies only to our regular jewelry
selection--the minimum for our Watch
Heads/Watch Faces is 12 pieces, which
costs about $95.)
Even a $250 investment cannot provide a varied
enough display (unless you order only one
type of jewelry--for example, all rings or
all watches). And since your wholesale prices
become substantially lower as your volume
increases, it is to your advantage to stock
a larger selection.
Are there any fees or contracts?
At Shavonne you only pay for your jewelry;
there are no fees. When you decide to open
a wholesale account with Shavonne you are
making the decision to go into business for
yourself. There are no contracts, except for
those you might make with yourself.
What if I can't afford a higher initial
order?
We understand that some people cannot afford
such a large investment. You can start out
with an investment of $250 and a minimal display,
and as your business grows you can expand
your jewelry display. There is even a special
program in place that allows you to get full
benefits from higher discount levels as your
business expands.
Isn't there risk involved in investing
so much in merchandise?
Definitely. This is why we developed the Guaranteed
Win-Win Wholesale Protection Program--so
that we can alleviate as much of this risk
as possible and create a virtually risk-free
environment for our clientele.
Through this program, we use our 33 years
of retail experience to support your new jewelry
sales business--and we back it up with a full
guarantee.
